Volailles & Traditions Ltée (VTL), part of the Inicia family, focuses on producing quality chicken and duck products. REARING
At Inicia, the rearing cycle for chicks begins with thorough cleaning and disinfection of the house. Then the facility is pre-heated to ensure optimal brooding temperatures upon the Day Old Chick’s arrival. It is crucial that the Chicks come from healthy parents’ flocks. During rearing, a structured vaccination program enhances the birds’ immunity. Temperature and ventilation are meticulously controlled, with easy access to feed and water. Regular monitoring of body weight and flock uniformity is essential, as it directly impacts future egg production quantity and quality.
DISTRIBUTION
Inicia’s robust merchandising and distribution network ensures efficient and reliable delivery of products throughout Mauritius. Our experienced merchandising team is present in all major food sales points and supermarkets, building strong relationships with retailers and optimising product placement to maximise visibility and accessibility.
